The more I hear about Rand Paul, the more I don't like him compared to Ron Paul. They may want the same goal, but Rand seems weaslier than his father.

Yes, that is the newest report for the oil cleanup in Louisiana.  YEARS.  Let me repeat that one more time for those supporters of the politicians down there:

This cleanup could take years!

And of course, we have the infamous "how much blame can we put on the President" game, in a similar move to Bush and Katrina.  To put it bluntly, you can't talk down a hurricane and you can't talk down an oil spill.  It just can't happen.  The fact that it took Obama his obligatory week (while spending it at a press dinner) only makes things look worse.

Obviously, something should be done on a federal level with this, dinner or no dinner.  We have an ecological disaster the like of which we haven't seen in years and the "leader of the free world" is trying to talk to it for lack of a better analogy.

If anything, this is an issue just based off of the Commerce clause of the Constitution.  This allows the Federal Government to take action in accordance with the Constitution.  Where is this?  Honestly, has anyone heard of anything being done there besides a bunch of speeches?

I'll not be surprised if BP gets a bailout from this either.  If anything, these people need to be financially liable for all the damage this is causing and will continue to cause for YEARS.  Instead, watch for a bailout to happen because it's "big oil."

Chicago crime has gotten bad to the point where martial law might be declared if certain elected officials get their way. So what happens under martial law? Well...

Habeus Corpus is suspended as is most other freedoms guaranteed under the Constitution. The military becomes the government and to defy them means...well, let's just say you won't get a fair trial if you're not shot first. The people of Chicago under martial law will NOT HAVE ANY RIGHTS WHATSOEVER.

Protests? Nah, just tear gas them, they're clearly disturbing the peace! Out after the military says get in? ARRESTED! Wave a stick at the military overlords? SHOT AND KILLED!

The people of Chicago would be little more than meat to the military should martial law be implemented. On top of this, it sets a dangerous precedent--if the city government doesn't work out its own problems, we'll just send in the military like a coup!

How does this kind of thing not scare anyone? Have we become so complacent that we will willingly allow every single freedom we have destroyed in the name of security?

Thankfully, from what I've read, the governor will not call for martial law unless the mayor of Chicago specifically asks for it. They mayor would be asked to commit political suicide, which won't happen unless things get REALLY out of hand. However, I'm waiting for someone to say things have gotten worse in Chicago, because the whole idea of martial law needs to be tested on a small group before you deploy it nationally.

I wrote this letter to all of my congressional delegation in light of today's events.  In case you don't know (link in the letter) the US government has issued a "mob hit" against an American citizen.  The letter is below:

I am writing this letter to you out of the horrific news I have seen lately and about the constitutional crisis that is looming as a result of this if left unchecked. An article from the New York Times has documented the United States government and specifically the Obama administration has given out a mob hit order (for lack of a better term) to Anwar al-Awlaki, an American citizen. The news article does not mention al-Awlaki ever receiving a fair trial within the court system of the United States of America, which is a severe violation of the constitution if this is the case. This is a flagrant violation of Amendment V, which guarantees he cannot be deprived of his life without due process of law. American citizens are guaranteed the right to a fair trial. How are we a nation of laws if we choose to willfully ignore the law when it is convenient?

This is also very similar to what is called a “Bill of Attainder” which is a specific power barred from Congress via Article I, Section IX to the Constitution but little is mentioned about the executive branch using such a bill. From what I have studied within the text of the Constitution, this power is not specifically barred from the executive branch of the government. However, in keeping with the spirit of the US Constitution, I would surmise that the President also lacks the power to create a Bill of Attainder also since it was assumed the President would be the executive in charge of administrating the laws of the land.

There is a serious crisis looming if the United States government thinks it is able to do whatever it wants. American citizens cannot be treated like this, regardless of whether or not he is branded as a terrorist. He may pose an imminent threat to the nation, but we as a country should not go down the route of mob hits. To go down this route is little more than resorting to terrorism to try and stop terrorism.

Yes, Dubya wasn't the antichrist, no matter what the Nostradamus people say. Was he a bad president? That's up for history to decide but I think he won't be remembered well. Anyway, here we go again with Mabus, thus proving once again the Nostradamus people have no idea what they're doing. This means I don't support the theory I will present, but will present it because the Nostradamus people are just idiots sometimes.

They say Mabus is a combination of Osama bin Laden and George W. Bush, which doesn't really work with anything Nostradamus does for the other two. Napolon Roi was Napoleon. Hister was Hitler. Mabus is most likely ONE PERSON and said one person is a slight misspelling of the name based upon the other two.

Now onto Mabus. If we're going to make it into something that involves two names, we can do it with Obama and Osama. Both names are similar with the exception of one letter--B or S. Both are present in Mabus. Notice how the first syllable is similar to the names when pronounced with an "ah" vowel sound.

You'll also notice the u in Mabus without any kind of explanation. This U vowel in Mabus is in there based on the fact that both names are also spelled with a U instead of an O. Ubama is a misspelling of Obama, and Usama is another spelling of Osama.

So there you have it. Another Nostradamus antichrist exposed! No need for thanks.

So the Easter Recess is now the deadline for Obama's health scare legislation, which has now evolved into forcing every American to get health care through a private company OR ELSE!!!
